Over $120,000 raised by the community of Coach Mark

Coach Mark Burzynski tirelessly gave his time to hundreds of families and players as a soccer coach, a referee, and a teammate, all the while spreading his love of the beautiful game.

As a testament to his indelible attitude, parents of the kids he coached rallied together to help in September 2021, after Mark’s time on the pitch was brought to an abrupt halt due to his diagnosis of stage 4 cancer.

The fund was set up to benefit him through treatment and his two children. Mark passed away in November 2021.

Mark’s family extends their eternal gratitude for the support of the soccer community of Brooklyn & New York. And to Mark, for his tireless efforts within the community. We love you, we thank you, and miss you dearly.
