Youth Soccer Scholarships

Funds raised will be distributed to young players in honor of Mark Burzynski, a dedicated soccer coach, referee and player that we lost in 2021. Mark coached with kindness, generosity and passion for the game, and had a strong belief that being involved in the soccer community ‘kept the kids out of trouble’

Our Story

We are friends and family of the late Mark Burzynski, a devoted soccer coach, player and referee in Brooklyn, New York.

Mark passed away from cancer in November 2021, after devoting much of the previous year to helping his communities youth in the midst of the pandemic. We are dedicated to keeping his memory alive by continuing his work, mentoring young soccer players through the love of a simple game, and as Coach Mark would say 'keeping the kids out of trouble'.

Funds raised will be distributed to young players in Coach Mark's Brooklyn community in the form of scholarships, to ease the high costs of playing with a local club. Follow us CoachMarkSoccerFund on social media to learn more about our beloved Mark.

“I am beyond grateful to have been coached by Mark. He changed my life not just in perspective of soccer, but life in general. Thankyou for being a coach, role model and friend.”
